I know that a couple of the girls in our league were throwing IR but their PC and dad called it forearm fire. This was North County San Diego. Maybe they are using a similar term where you are.

PC has the ball pointing towards third. He said, the ball towards the sky always hurt his arm so he doesn't teach it. I asked. LOL. The finish is HE but completely open is how he teaches it but lets them kinda develop. DD is close to 45 but hips never close.
