protraction of front scap is what causes name on back of jersey to start to appear ?

Here's a pretty good fastpitch swing that shows lots of scap action and little to no shoulder reverse rotation

I have studied this extensively and have hundreds of clips that show the exact same thing.

Reverse rotating the shoulders is a low level movement pattern.

This is the only way I could get this video sharing stuff to work.

Thanks FFS.

The kids has struggled with the premature unloading of the shoulders at heel plant.
This is what I am referring to when talking about the position they (shoulders) should be in at heel plant.
I like what my DD has accomplished with regards to this subject.

I don't know what reverse rotating is.
I also don't know or want to know about scap action.
That sort of thing happens as a result of proper mechanics, in this case, creating space as Candrea referred to it.

What better way to lock down your feet then to weight them? How would you weight the feet?

We've used wrist/ankle weights in various weights on the ankles or wrists depending on we we are working on.
We've also used tubing attached to her ankles/wrists/belt (hips) at one end and clip to an eye-bolt on the other.

Athletic kid.

I wouldn't want to fight her.

This swing is a little long, but study how her shoulders stay closed the same degree until they open, but her back elbow loads.

This is pretty well done.
