So is the treatment only 5 days? A “Z-pak” is azithromycin 500mg on day 1, then 250mg on days 2-5. He gave it to people who weren’t hospitalized? I thought only those who were pretty sick would be the ones to get it. If so, azithromycin comes in parenteral form.

ETA: Please forgive me for not turning the news on. Kids are happily watching a movie and aren’t strangling each other for the moment.
