Regarding rdbass... Were does he get those wonderful.....clips?

I don't know what's worst coach saying swing is wrong ect... or a coach who says nothing. DD(soph) has been working out with her high school pre-tryouts. HC says to the girls that she will not say anything to the girls and per DD HC hasn't spoken to any of the girls. Some feed back would be nice. We will have to wait and see if DD makes varsity before HC will speak to DD or not.

That's a guy! The way girls should swing is different. The way fastpitch softball players should swing is different.

Daughter learned this swing from Coach Hubbard at North Texas. Some of the other girls she has played with have kept this style and has been very successful with it. It was too much movement for my kid but she liked the position it put her hands thru the zone. We played around and simplified it a bit. Took the tip out and started bat resting at her lateral delt(side of shoulder). Hands still where she wants them thru the zone and no extra movement.
