It's amazing how many Japanese videos there are on YouTube. Here is one that I wanted to post somewhere. It was either here or in a brush interference thread. Watch the pants/pocket of the guy on the left. I'm thinking about adapting something like this into a drill.

The timing is more important than the speed of the arm. To create proper whip there is a technique and timing is a big portion of it.

The arm can move faster than the legs leading to the less than ideal position.
I’ve used Amanda pitching motion as a reference point. Still lots of work to do She’s 12 years old. Her fastest pitches have been when she’s slowed the arms to allow the legs and torso to find this position. The ball tends to be flat and wild when she tries to windmill as fast as she can.

I watch that Scarborough video often, and show it to others a lot. It's the best example on youtube as far as I'm concerned. High speed camera work is the bestest.
