I am not a Teacherman guy but this makes a lot of sense. And he doesn't use absolutes, pretty much saying players can have different tempos.
he did use an absolute. He said you need to be fully loaded at pitch release. NOT! The COM needs to be advancing during release! Which starts the torso loading process.
what he is so clumsily trying to describe is the inner rubber band that takes the slack out from the front hip to the back shoulder which is different for everyone; that ‘tempo’ or real loading(loose mover vs stuff mover)is done by foot down. Not pitch release. At least in the best patterns.
