Everyone,

If you're in the area, or you could be in the area, get down to Ft Meyers Florida this weekend. There's a mid-winter men's fastpitch tournament this weekend featuring some of the top teams in the game. While the majority of teams and players won't be in mid-season form, a lot of the teams will be importing pitchers from Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, and various other places who will be in mid-season shape. So the pitching will be 10x ahead of the hitting. The link here is the schedule: https://www.fastpitchwest.com/?p=42697

If you can go, GO. If you've never seen a game of men's fastpitch, GO. If you've seen men's play fastpitch before but haven't seen the top pitchers/hitters in the world, GO. Bring some band-aids because when your chin hits the ground, you might scratch it.

If possible, take your son along too. Who knows, maybe it'd peak his interest and he'll wanna give fastpitch a try too. In fact, if he knew and understood how much playing some fastpitch would actually help his baseball career, it might lead to some extra fastpitch games during your summers!!! Go check this tournament out if possible.
