My daughter wants to play college ball, she plays on a small town summer team that doesn't get much exposure. She is a pitcher what is the best way to get her name out to area colleges?

How old is she? If she is HS age, she really needs to start emailing schools she’s interested in (at all levels D1-3, Juco, etc) and attend their camps when they have them. She also should try to get on a team that has a proven track record with getting kids placed in colleges. Easier to narrow down a team if she has a pretty good idea of what level she’d like to play at.

Yes to the above!

One more tip is to look at teams that have placed kids in the school/conference that she hopes to attend. College coaches would like to see your DD competing against kids at the level that she will see when she gets to college.

Time to leave the Hairy Ketchup Bottles AKA The Hittin' Kittens and find a team that will help develop her and guide the path to play in college. Assuming you are in Nebraska. Nebraska Gold and Nebraska Thunder Gold is playing in the USA Gold Nationals right now. Nebraska Gold just beat a very good Aces team (assuming they have their studs). This would be a good starting point...if you live in Nebraska.

Like Orange Socks stated find the best team in your area, and get on it. Or if you are willing to take a drive you have a ton of options in middle america, team name matters

When she gets old enough, she will have to go to the camp the college is running. Some schools rosters are 100% filled with girls who attended their camps. Especially the p5 schools.

This occurs mostly because attending the college camp is a requirement in those college recruitment process.
*Not because they only find athletes at their own Camp.
They find athletes wherever they find them and tell them we're interested in you and we'd like to have you attend our camp this is the beginning of our process.
It also increases the budget to have athletes come to camps.

Camps are really important. The camps that are advertised as having multiple coaches and hundred of girls are typically money grabs. Focus on camps that are school specific. These camps are usually much smaller and a very important part of the recruiting process.

Start working on it today. Grades go a long way. We've never been to a camp but we've been invited to a lot of them. I know it's not the only way to get recruited though
