I was watching the Arizona-Oklahoma game on TV this weekend, the second game between the two teams. The announcers were commenting on how many runners Arizona had left on base, sort of keeping a running count along the way.
After Arizona got a couple of runners on base and again failed to score them (I think it was about #12 and #13 on the weekend) the camera focused on Mike Candrea before cutting to commercial. The normally in-control Candrea picked up the bat from the last hitter by the barrel then slammed the knob into the ground.
So for all of you who get aggravated when your team doesn't score don't feel bad. It happens to the best of us.
