don't laugh I need information on tball bat

Ok guys its been a long time. My DD decided to go basketball rather then softball so we are close too signing right now. But i have a new grandaughter who is 5. I cannot for the life of me remember how to size a tball bat. She is a tiny thing i believe much smaller then my DD at the same age so I need some information on sizing a bat for a tiny girl for tball.

The bat will say t-ball on it. Probably 27 inches and smaller.

Yeah I know tball bat and 24-26 inches...just wondered if you picked them by height and weight....or? She only weighs 34 lbs and she is 5...so she is really small I guess I will go with the 24. Grandma is buying her the gear for her tball.....HERE I GO AGAIN!!!!
