Equal parts drama in both softball and theater ...

I became a drama kid after a "lifetime" of baseball and blowing out my knee my sophomore year. Our Town, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Steel Magnolias. I remember my theater days much better because there were far fewer of them.

My high school was so small though that any activity or sport had to deal with kids doing multiple things at once. Junior year I tried doing both the play and baseball, but my heart just wasn't in baseball.

My best piece of advice is do not buy in to the sunk cost fallacy. The money that was spent on softball lessons and equipment is already spent. Do not let that factor into some guilt trip about what you think you should do.

Beyond that, follow your heart! You are young and should experience as many different things as possible.
