Thanks rdb, that was the clip I was referring to.
Same thing here @Work=wins , right? How do you think an AJ check would look on similar pitches?

She is an athlete with a great swing and body awareness. I don't think she is as one legged as TM prescribes which IMO makes her better. Everybody TTB to some degree. Some more some less some earlier some later. Barry Bonds swing is different than JD Martinez. Both players are great. I like JD swing better. If BB swing was the one and only way to do it then everyone pro would be flocking to TM. That ain't happening. Even if he was as nice as Coach Q. LOLGreat adjustment ! Good piece of hitting ! But it doesn’t match what you say she does. Sorry. The initial turn (acceleration from GO in your words) isn’t true. She delays sit a bit and goes to the ball. If she was yanking her hands rearward it’s a swing and miss or a roll over.
So in your opinion that action is all due to a pulling core, right?

Come on @TDS stop diverting and answer my question first . I assume the answer is the same as @Work=wins for both the clips I was referring to (Howard and Yelich) e.g. barrel action is not due at all to handle torque, none, zero, zilch. Correct?Have you ever stopped a swing where your all in and call it off ? Is that due to concentrated handle torque ?

Either you want to discuss hitting or you don't. If you do, then answer my question along with the one about how you think AJ's check would compare to the ones showed for Howard and Yelich since we know (or at least we think we do) that he was taught TTB via handle torque. I honestly want to know your opinion on both of those things.Looks to be a match

What would be the major difference between the barrel action in an AJ check and the check's by Howard and Yelich since I assume you think their patterns differ? Or do Howard/Yelich more align with TM's pattern in your opinion? If you want to call the change in barrel direction torque then yea but it needs to be synced with the core.
