No I am just saying that his initial turn has to have acceleration based upon the mathematical definition of acceleration since at some point the velocity along the direction of the barrel path starts at zero and then goes to nonzero (since it is moving)..I was just nitpicking him since he loves when I do that...its our thing

Acceleration has to happen in order to get to Nonzero velcoity becaue the rate of change of velocity is measured by acceleration. Right LOL I hate math.

Thanks for the response! I honestly don’t see her torquing the handle with the hands. Not cause I’m not trying to lol. She’s got a great swing!
I don’t think you can control when your foot gets down in games. IMO you have to stride looking for the hardest pitch the girl throws. The key to hitting off speed is found is solid swing mechanics. Maintaining upper body resistance while staying balanced (centered). You can delay heel plant momentarily when fooled. JMO! Appreciate your response and insight and what you provide to DFP

What I'm seeing is her delaying, adjusting her launch position as she's reading the pitch and sinking into her front leg, and then turning the barrel down behind and up through the ball.

TM says launch from max coil right? Mike Q coaches that right? That’s GO right? The swing shifts the pelvis right? Not what Maddie is doing there.

Your explanation was good :)
Ok, now where does "Turn 2" occur? Why is there 2 and not 1 LOL. @W=W says "Turn1 is when griffey splits his helmet. Wouldn't the starting point be when he actually launches the barrel rearward? Not that this really matters to me, but just curious.

I believe his turn two, e.g. barrel release, would be right 11s in the Griffey video. That is when I think @Work=wins (and others..the whole barrel release thing was 1CA's deal right @Work=wins ? ) is saying you want to apply force into the handle at that point whereas TM is saying you do it right at launch and then no more force is applied after that.
