As an update to this tread, I have recently purchased the TC balls at NSC Coaches Clinic. I've had one player (daughter) use these balls and the feedback is instantaneous. I will be using these balls in my practices each week. I have hit them too. Good to know that I can still hit for an old man! I love the TC balls and encourage others to buy them and feel for yourselves the instant impact it has on your hitters.

When I went into the local baseball/softball store this week, to leave my fliers, the owners said "Do you use TCB balls?" I said "Yes. That is almost all that I use for BP, now." He said "Well, I am thinking about ordering them. People tell me they don't use their nets, anymore." I said "That's right."

He ordered them for his store, while I was there.

We have found this is an excellent training device for slappers. It forces you to keep the bat on the ball longer and hit the ball harder into the ground. The differences after one lesson was an eye opener. I have to give credit to Howard Carrier on this one.

I am getting ready to buy some TCB balls. Can anyone tell me how teams are using the new Hole Balls? How far do they go?

Have not tried the new hole TCB balls. It would be interesting to hear some feedback. The small 14.99 oz balls work great and I'm tired of replacing whiffle balls , so if they work I will end up buying some. I can't wait to see the golf balls they are coming out with.

I haven't tried the hole ones easier but I agree with all the others. Do NOT get the atomics!

Might be okay for bigger stronger baseball players but when I tried it and FELT the impact in my wrists and all through my spine...no way. Not using them for softball players!

Love the regular TCBs though. I hate transporting nets and TCBs made it easy for us to do the same pre-game no matter where we were!

I use the smaller ones in practice all the time. I think they are great. I have girls from side toss that can hit them between pitcher and second that are screaming when they go by. Howard has told me that he has girls that can hit them all the way to second in the air. Please be careful with them. They can go farther than you think and they do hurt from experience.

Yes! That is true...advise everyone not to try to stop the ball with body parts just because it's not going far. It does hurt and can cause nasty bruises! Hurt to catch with your hands sometimes if they hit it well so may want to use gloves when shagging.

I just received the Total Control Sports "whiffle" balls, yesterday. I am not associated with the company at all, so if my description is wrong in any way, I was just looking at them for the first time. I may try to hit some, today.
