maybe if it didn't have "tee" in the name and had "soft toss" instead people won't freak out so much, cuz its being used similar to soft toss and not tee work. I see it as a tool for kids to get out and hit and get some swings in without another person needed to toss the balls.

The tee does "toss" when using foam balls. I haven't tried it yet in this mode though. There is an insert at the top that unscrews and reverses to allow foam balls to pop up/out at an angle. Using this side, instead of the flat side my videos show, lets you set the tee up a few feet in front and angle it to pop up/in to simulate inside/outside pitches.

Screwball, I agree live pitching is best, but using a tee has it's place too. When my daughter and I do some hitting practice she typically starts with a bucket of balls off the regular tee, then a bucket using the Pop Toss tee, then 2 -4 buckets of me pitching. We make a game of using the tees where she's attempting to hit the ball either past me if I'm in a fielders position, or to me if I position myself in a gap location.

Drop the "Pop-Toss" tee and your all set.
