The Bama/Auburn game was ugly, from the weather to the complete beat down!

Switched over to Alabama v Auburn on ESPNU.

Sorry to offend any Auburn fans but that was terrible. I just turned on the last few min of it. My husband said Auburns team was mainly freshman? IDK but even their throwing just seemed to be terrible. They said that game broke Alabama's record of runs scored in an inning from last record was 9 to that game of 11. 11 runs scored in one inning in a college game? There must have been something going on with that team that wasn't readily seen on tv.


I'm from TN but my daughter is a huge Gator Softball fan. She's only 13 and got a long way to go before then but I of course wish she would be an Alabama fan cause it's closer to Mama.

Auburn had just beat Alabama the day before (first time in several years). They had the bases loaded with no outs in the 3rd (the inning with all of AL runs) and could not put one of them across the plate. Then AL loads the bases with no outs and proceeds to hit 4 or 5 2-run singles among the errors and other hits.

Auburn went through 3 different pitchers in that inning.
