DD was a competitive gymnast from age eight through ninth grade. That was also the year she switched to a higher level softball travel team. Her gym coaches were great working with her softball schedule but it was too much so she “retired” from gym after that year. She did take up diving for her high school her last three years and had a blast. I was very happy that divers went before swimmers so I was in and out in 30 minutes at meets.
