How about old school.......Johnny Bench old school, ALL tan with a 2-piece solid web, embroider a big #5 on

Those old school mitts are pretty neat. Wing tips...for whatever reason I think it makes a glove look good.

No way she’d like that closed web though!

Lol, I showed it to the DD. She says dad no. The orange laces won’t hold up and the color will fade. Go with the tan. Well evidently she has been listening to me after all.

If you know me, the fact that I (me) showed a glove with anything other than tan laces is crazy, never happens!

99.9% on the Black and Tan. Oiled Horween black palm, tan web.

Scarlet red embroidery.

Tan binding.
Vegas gold stitching.
Gold palm stamping, which I’ve NEVER done before!

Hmmm that’s interesting. Very similar to what I’m thinking of but a couple different little tweaks. I like the red embroidery. I’ll have to show her the gold stamping and see what she thinks. Good news about that is I think I read somewhere that it’s indented so when the gold wears down eventually that’ll still be there. Thanks! Good ideas.
