Coil Stretch Swing-Is this different than forward by coiling?

Yes and no. Forward by coiling is how you want to do the "coiling" of "Coil-Stretch-Swing". Coil-Stretch-Swing being one of several similar ways to describe the "Sequence".

Coil - Stretch - Swing
Coil - Stretch - Separate
Coiling - loading - launching

If you want to check out more about all of the above I'd hit up the "New Member Intro Thread" at BBD as your launching pad.

Thanks for the advice. I am still a bit confused on the sequence. This was from swing builder-

Some hitters coil their hip as they move out and some hitters coil to then move out. Me- Doesn't Cabrera coil then move out?

But they have a coiled hip as they move out.

For those that move out with coiling its that coiling that causes the hands to load and the stride leg to reach out. And is MOST OPTIMAL!

Those that coil to then move out still must load the hands and reach out with the stride leg IN THE MOVE OUT.
