If I'm reading this right, the young lady is new to softball and/or tournament ball?

This might not be popular, but I would go with an R9 or 1 step up to a Liberty. My DD is 2nd yr 12U and she has been playing with a LA for almost 3 years now. In the next year or so, I will be looking to get her that next level/last a long time glove, but the little lower level glove isn't always a bad thing. Get her in a decent glove that she can use now with the knowledge that she will probably need a new glove 2 years and start saving now. A LA will get you a solid 2 yrs.
No, I completely agree with this! The R9, or even the Gamer series that CloseoutBats has an exclusive to, but those are baseball gloves, so no 12.5” size.

The outlet had a TON of Liberty Advanced yesterday…..and I didn’t pick up a single one and look at the price? Sorry, wasn’t why I was in there.

Call them and ask.

They open at 10:00 ET.

I like this option.

I like this a lot. Probably a couple dollars less than you can get a LA (unless the outlet has better pricing) and it's TIP. DD current LA is TIP and she loves it. Also it's not white. Looks pretty when new but red dirt doesn't do good things to write leather.

Maybe look into the marucci magnolia fp line of glove. Their hand stall are made for girl smaller hands. They should be cheap enough and should last about 3 to 5 seasons.

3rd base for 12 yr old
Any thoughts? She currently has. A 12.5” nokona when she used to play a lot of OF.

she thinks a 11.75” will be way too small but don’t think she understands. Looking for 11.75-12” options.

Rawlings Heart of the Hide PRO715SB is a great glove for fastpitch infielders. I web, smaller hand and finger stalls, all leather construction, 11.75" pattern, but get the proper wrist closure (lace up)

I see the pull strap, is that the wrist closure you referring to?
Negative ghostrider, the pull straps are nearly as bad as the velcro close
This PRO715SB-GW has the proper wrist closure 20210621_162304.jpg

Couple of points Schmick, I'm 100% with you on the wrist closure, the proper baseball style laced button lap is the only wrist closure as far as I'm concerned, been preaching this here for years!

As for the Pro715, looks like a great pattern but I'd personally prefer a 12" glove, especially at 3B. I think it's discontinued now but Rawlings did offer a 12" Pro716, but it just came with a basket web if I remember correctly?

My only issue with the Pro715 is it comes in Horween Featherlight leather, that's the same soft leather that comes on Rawlings Dual Core gloves. It feels fantastic to the touch but breaks down and becomes too soft too quickly! This is not the same Horween glove leather I've referred to here a million times before!

For the $259.95 retail price I'd love to see them offer this glove in true HOH baseball leather!

I know I sound like a broken record recommending a Don Morton 12" Pro1000, it retails for $279.95, they always have their 10% off coupon going, that puts this glove at $251.95 for a true exclusive, which is less than than that retail Pro715, or any retail HOH or A2000 at DSG. And the difference in quality.....well there's no comparison!! And the Pro1000 is just a killer infield pattern!

Yep, it's a 12" baseball glove, for most girls here, just re-lace the button lap to the smallest setting and they're good to go!
