Nano: best of Luck to Emily & your family. Sports are great, but Health is everything.

To share a short story: At DD's school a football player suffered multiple concussions and on the advice from his doctors, retired from playing. he loved the game and everything about it.

This player went to the middle school football caoch and volunteered to join the middle school coaching staff to help out and pass along his love of the game to the younger players.

As you can imagine, the local newspapers picked up on the story. In fact the young man was presented with an Award at the season ending School Sports Assembly.

We have cried together and felt a loss of a part of our lives.

I can't imagine your pain, or the fear of having to put your child's life in the hands of a doctor, but just the fact that the two of you can still cry together, and you can still hug her, is your blessing.
