knightsb,
Congrats to your DD.Hopefully first of many more.

Thanks. I know we are in very similar stages in our DDs swing development as I keep tabs on your threads too. In fact your thread has helped as much as mine... thanks very much.

Very cool! Congrats to your DD for all the hard work. Can you post a follow-up video?

Here is a video from my iPhone (sorry for the poor quality), taken from last weekend.

Very nice. I really like the lower body sequence now. Much more quiet and her head is not moving like it was before. Looks like maybe a touch of bat drag, but its hard to tell from the video if is the norm or a result of the high pitch. What a hit! Nice job and keep it up.

Nice looking game swing. Keep working and fine tuning. This is a good example of a kid who is ALLOWED to drop her hands when she lifts her front foot to stride. Look where her hands are when she launches her swing...up at arm pit height. Really nice job of letting a kid figure out what they need to do to get their hands in sync with their lower body. This swing is why I never tell a kid to "Keep their hands up". This kid does what I consider a good hand drop or hand pump. It's a mechanism to get them in sync. Good job of teaching something that flies in the face of conventional wisdom:D

Katie drops her hands more than I would recommend, but it works for her
