" My daughter has offers from a couple Centennial Conference schools, but the way the schools, and the conference, has handled all this really gives us pause. "

The conference has a range of schools for both academics and athletics. If the school is a great fit, go for it. Covid will be a blip in history by time your DD will graduate college. My DD1 is a non athlete, so in that regard I cannot comment much. But she is involved in alot of other extra curriculars and that has been just as tough on her and her friends (her interests outside the classroom are just as valuable as any athletes'). I can comment that while her college does have them locked up now (semester just started last week) they do have a plan for expansion of "freedom" as time passes based on test metrics. They have been great at communicating with students and parents their plans and goals. So far (DD is jr) we have been pleased with her experience such that DD2 has applied as well (in addition to other CC schools).
