Does she have the Rip It Pro? It looks like the opening is a little wider on it than the Schutt titanium.

Yes , she had the Rip It Pro. Prefers the Schutt

Mine prefer the Schutt over the Rip-It. Vision and the much better chin cup design on the Schutt. My DD's Schutt saved one of our pitcher's tail a few weeks ago. She couldn't find hers so she grabbed DDs since she was playing OF that inning. Ball got on her in a blink and she went down like she had been shot. She wasn't moving when we got to her and she may have went out for a bit. She came around and after a bit stood up and walked off with a head ache. I shudder to think what would have happened if she had not paused to grab DD's mask. DD herself took a nasty hop at practice Sunday at 2B that actually knocked her down. Mask did it's job and she kept on rolling.

I went ahead and ordered the Schutt Titanium and the Ripit Pro so she can try them both. Rip it said they made some improvements, so we will find out soon.

She is a pitcher, and also plays 3B, and fields the bunt very well. No vision issues with this mask.

I find the rip-it masks to be pretty heavy
