Yes, my DD uses the A2000 DP15 (11.5" Pedroia Fit) with a 12" ball. She is able to field the ball with no issues at SS, 3B, 2B. She likes the smaller hand opening and tighter finger stalls. She has always preferred smaller gloves and uses an 11" Rawlings for pitching. A2000 just takes time to break in, still getting there...good quality leather.

A2000. My DD has the A2000 Monica Abbott glove and loves it. It took awhile to break it in but well worth it. We also keep it wrapped when not in use to keep pocket formed.

Baseball gloves only for us, ever! What age, position, and level of play is your DD?

These are Anna’s “baseball“ gloves. This represents almost 8 years of playing in this pic!

Just out of curiosity why baseball gloves and not dedicated softball gloves? My daughter used a Wilson A2000 H12 for infield. She loves it. Broke in very easily. Shallow pocket for quick transition.

Both gloves are excellent choices. All depends on what glove fits your DD better.
Best answer.

Try on gloves and more gloves. When you're planning on spending 2 bills plus on something make it right. It's all a personal choice. The biggest mistake I see in people buying gloves if buying too much glove. A 12in and under glove is perfect. You don't want anything unwieldy. Gloves get in the way more than they help in the infield

Buy a stiff steerhide glove (not the fancy crap) with a lot of backbone. You don't want a flopper.

She is 11. 5'3 130lbs plays SS. Currently using a 11.5 hoh (2000 model). She plays A level select ball. Thought about going with a new old stock hoh 1999 model horween but like the new hohs due to them being not so stiff.

Not sure if this was directed towards me? Initially for me it was velcro, can’t stand the stuff on a ball glove! Then later when I became more involved in gloves......repairing, re-lacing, and breaking in for people it quickly became apparent that the internals in baseball gloves (higher quality gloves) were so much better than dedicated fastpitch / softball gloves!

Velco is great on gloves when properly adjusted and left alone. I have 30 year old gloves and the velcro is still in great shape. Girls are always fooling with the velcro and its rarely adjusted right. Girls like their fingers jammed into the stalls and the velcro cinched tight. That's not how you wear a ball glove. This is how you wear a glove
