If, for whatever reason, at least one family wasn't driving to the tournament, I'd ship the equipment to the hotel directly and called the front desk letting them know to expect it. Never had an issue.
I’d pay for this service lolbrings to mind another possible way for "national tournaments", or at least someone nearby, to make money, rent gear for the duration.
two bownets, one tee, 36 balls, 6 heavy balls, two buckets with lids ... all for $75-100 for the week, $300 deposit required, refundable on return. I think a lof of teams would fork over $100 if flying not to have to deal with transporting all that. only $300 worth of gear approximately. looking at it, buying most of it new (via amazon, etc. shipped direct), then selling to a Play it AGain or the like might be cheaper than shipping or extra bag fees.
We went to the Myrtle Beach World Series when my DD was playing 10U. It was a really fun time.more of a destination location playing against solid teams that we wouldn’t otherwise see in Ohio and surrounding areas.
