Sydney Smith just pitched her 3rd consecutive SEC shutout in the game against Alabama tonight. She tends to be overshadowed by the other 2 pitchers on LSU's staff but this girl is pitching fantastic right now.

DD played with her in 14U. Nice seeing a MN kid doing so well in the SEC.

Hard to replace Groenewegen, but adding Smith and with another year of experience for Fiser they came pretty darn close. Should have no problem hosting the Regional they missed out on last year.

Sydney should do great at Minnesota.
