I don’t think it’s that far forward. I think I’ll try to close the gap next time , try to force myself to TTB behind me. Try to force TTB rearward, instead of pushing and turning the barrel out front. Shrink the hand path, or the distance. Force a change.
Maybe the camera angle is fooling me. The bottom of the bag looks like it's about even with your front foot, but your contact point is a bit further forward than that. I agree with experimenting with a deeper contact point. Force your body to tighten up your pivot so the barrel is turning deeper. One of the checkpoints I look for is the barrel getting aligned (or close to it) with the lead forearm at contact. Pushing hands and late barrel acceleration will often lead to a lack of barrel-forearm alignment.
