the forehand is not a cross body move. The backhand and slap shot use the same counter rotation pattern as an elite baseball/softball swing.

a hitter would have to stand open to the pitcher to swing if they were to swing a bat in the forehand pattern. Most HOFers are closed at stance and launch. Go figure.

Listen, you have a vision of how the swing is and your kid is doing it to a T. Means you are a great teacher. But, we is TOTAL disagreement what high level is. Cross body move is what is happening.

The fact that you are comparing a tennis backhand to an elite swing is proof you are way way off.
