I am a right-handed batter but I am naturally left handed at everything else I do though (eating, writing, painting nails ect.) I have been wanting to start slapping and maybe doing some switch to give myself a challenge and expand my abilities. My high school coach would let me do it at practice but never in a game, I started practicing a little during practice. I want to be able to hit lefty by next season. I was wondering if anyone has experience with starting to hit lefty or slap, and any tips? Thank you .

I think if you're a natural lefty, the whole process may go somewhat faster for you...as far as feeling natural anyway. Probably still looking at a almost a year for your power, but being natural left perhaps not. My advice to you would be if you want to slap, you need to be all in. If you can hit left, I see no reason at all to switch sides. Learn to swing away from the left....it keeps the defense honest and can help open holes for your slapping.
