So if you were in a pool game and batting say 12 players and it was close with 9-10-11 coming and you needed to get to the top of the order you could put batter 12 up and have her step on plate or something to get a quick out and if batter 1 got up and took 1 pitch then she would be the legal batter. I know it's a bogus move, but I could see someone trying it.

Stopped after the first one which is incomplete to make a decision or answer the question with any intelligence

1. R2 occupies second base with no
outs when B2 singles to right field.
R2 touches third and home and, after
touching home, the third base coach
yells to R2 that she missed third base.
While racing back to third R2 is tagged
out by F5.
a. No runner may return to touch a
missed base after she has scored.
b. The out on R2 stands.
c. R2’s run counts.

They state the correct answer is C. Well, if it was a valid appeal and the runner DID miss 3rd base, it isn't C.

Referee is renown for being wrong and the fact that the question has an R2 and B2 should give an idea how much they pay attention to softball.

But it WASN'T a valid appeal. Your changing the fact pattern. Just answer the question that was asked.
