Player Turnover - Another Season is the Books

My younger DD (9) is joining the town 10u TB ("B") team that my older DD was on last year. It was loaded with nine 9 y/o players last year. One player jumped to another team in our area but 8 are coming back. There are four kids from the 8u CP tournament team that fill out the roster. We're finally getting a full array of teams in our town: 8u-14u.

DD has played for 5 years.

Year to year turnover:
12U Rec - about 50% turnover
14U TB - about 30% turnover, including DD moving from B program to A program
16U TB - About 40% turnover, including DD moving to Gold program
18 Gold TB - about 85% turnover, DD stayed when coaches left organization to start their own

There was only 1 time between seasons (spring to fall 16U) when the team she was on lost less than 30% of the players.
