Is UCLA loses--to Arkansas?

Last week, UCLA lost to (wait for it) ARKANSAS. Arkansas?? (My mother wasn't aware they even had colleges in Arkansas...) Arkansas has a 5-5 record, with a loss to Sam Houston State.

Georgia slips into 1st place

The reasoning must be that "someone has to be number 1". Georgia hasn't played any top 25 team yet. They travel out west for some real competition against Arizona and Oklahoma...so, we'll find out how good they are.

IMHO--this will be the last week Georgia tops the NFCA Poll.

Since cost-cutting is on the front pages, let's have a playoff between Georgia, Alabama and Florida now and eliminate the other meaningless games in the southeast.

As much as the pollsters want the SEC to get a national title, ranking them above the top Pac-10 schools doesn't make it so.

UCLA almost lost to Southern Illinois--Edwardsville last Friday. SIU-E out hit UCLA 7-5 and went 9 innings before falling 3-2. SIU-E just made the move to DI last year and the Ohio Valley Conference this year.

On Sun 17-Apr 2:00 PM ESPNU LIVE SOUTH CAROLINA @ ARKANSAS. You will be able to see Arkansas take on South Carolina. Mike Larabee (who coached at Wright State and was an assistant for Terry Sullivan at Illinois) took over last year. Good energetic coach!!!

Even if the SEC wins, it's still a win for California. over 50% of the players on the top SEC teams are from here ;P

I went to UF but have lived in California for 12 years, so either way it's gravy. . .. so long as Florida obliterates all the other drawl-talking schools

There are players, but no where near 50%. I heard this somewhere recently and I took a look at some rosters, every school in the SEC I looked at had some California girls, but it was 2-6 girls. More then I expected, but no where near half.
