Saw Megan Betsa pitch twice this weekend. Wow.

She went 10 innings against Florida yesterday, losing 2-1. That's 10, (ten), innings against a Gators team that is about as dangerous as they come.

She is going to dominate most teams. There is an article on Michigans site where Hutch talks about how hard she worked on spin over the winter. It showed this weekend.

I am still trying to figure out how she got away from UGA and other SEC teams and ended up at Michigan. Was she highly recruited coming out of HS?

True, but UF is a great academic school and the weather is a hell of a lot better in Florida!

I suspect that was the least of the considerations in her decision making process.

Watching Hutch coach was almost a distraction. I felt guilty not watching the game because I would check to see what she was doing and caught myself thinking "well, what she gonna do about THAT"......
