The only time I felt the need for pulling the hands in to barrel up was with 2 strikes and protecting.
Yep, just trying to get the barrel on the ball.. I've done it before as well when I got beat and it was last resort

With all the shifts that occurs today.. I think it would be beneficial to hit the ball where its pitched vs trying to inside/out every pitch.

Yeah, Trout is just one big muscle and super athletic so he can hit however he wants.. lol. Hard to argue with his results, but I agree, hit it where it's pitched

I don't know, after I hurt my knee I forgot how to hit for almost 2 years and was getting jammed all the time..cannot say I thought it was a good thing at the time :LOL:

Yea, I remember those days more so during the Spring in
Minnesota 🥶 I started to feel my hands again by the last inning;)
