I personally think alligator arms Is an adjustment when the hitter Is beat... ideally that’s not where contact should be on an inside pitch.

No, alligator arms is when you don't hit the ball with extension on the middle/inside pitch. You let the ball come into your swing/arc. Alligator arms are a good thing. In the Trout swing he is hitting the inside pitch very deep.

Yeah I don’t want to hit an inside pitch deep. Inside pitch out front more, middle pitch level with front foot, outside pitch inside front foot. Imo you don’t want to let an inside pitch get too deep

Get the barrel to the ball..everyone has a plan till they get punched in the mouth (or they face a guy throwing 98 with a good slider)

I don't think its on purpose to hit an inside pitch deep.. He's doing whats needed to put the barrel on it. I have no idea of the count or situation was though..

Before I knew what was happening, I learned how to hit the inside pitch without extension. The feeling is letting the ball come right into your arc or rotation. As a result you are hitting the inside pitch deep.

Like the saying goes if your getting jammed it's a good thing. It tells you that your hitting the ball deep or letting the ball travel.

It isn't that hard to learn how to let the pitch come right into your arc/rotation.

Never heard that one before.. it's horrible getting jammed. The example below is good timing on inside pitch, this is how you want to handle it..
