I guess i can understand that. I was thinking like a foul pop up that went back or some other non solid contact hit.
No, mishits as in way down the barrel at the connection or off the endcap...not like barely making
contact
Endcaps are very soft...they dont take mishits well at all.
Is that foam or the bat? Cant see real well?

That joint is a weak point on all of these multi piece bats, not just Easton. Too many hits near/on the joint will break it like that.
Yeah, we've all seen a girl swing and hit the ball with her hands. I'm always a bit puzzled by that. I mean how can you swing at a ball and mis-judge it by 18 inches. But then again, these girls are young and sometimes feeling pressure from mom/dad/coach.
So if a girl can swing a bat hard and have the ball hit her hand, she can certainly swing hard and have the ball hit the connection piece.

I was at this game.....best part was it wasn't her bat that broke. borrowed her teammate's. That ball went right off the last 1/2'' of bat.
