The hands are dumb, and small, and weak. They have one job - hold onto the bat.
You crack me up!!

I get that but I just think in order to tighten up the swing that concept will become sloppy, with arms and hands becoming discombobulated.

What about posture here?
One pitch appears to be belt high and the other one below the belt as far as I can tell.
If I haven't muddied the water enough, I ask my hitters to do check swings as a part of our hitting. I want them to notice things like where their hands are. What is the position of their hips. Did they point the knob and how hard was it to do a "hard check" and control that barrel?

I like that swing but she does get stuck for a mila second but turns the corner well. See her head move backwards after launch. I don't like that but if she is hitting .388 I would leave it alone. I have no idea who this is but I would guess she is a natural right handed player. This is rotation bringing the hands. See the difference? Powerful but not adjustable.

See the late top wrist extension? Late torque of the bat? After rotation starts?
I think this works until college ball.
