Dd finally stung my hand

So the other day dd asks me to practice. We have been working on some stuff with the guidance of the dfp gurus. We start off with overhand catch and then transition into underhand.

One particular pitch she drives straight out at me with a nice launch(thanks java) turns her hips with her shoulders(thanks starsnuffer), gets some real good glove arm use(thanks rick pauly) and pulls them both down together(thanks boardmember). It was beautiful and then i realized that i have to catch this. WHACK!! Right in there. Hurt like a mother trucker. Pulled the glove off my hand and proudly hollered the F bomb.

She said "sorry", "sorry?", do it again! I said.

Just be glad it was your glove and not your shin or the end of your foot, have lost my toenail twice to drops into the end of my toe. And of course praise her and do it again.
