Jessica Mendoza made a guest appearance at our opening ceremonies. Her speech was excellent and inspirational. Her message included the joy of the game, the game helping her to make good choices, and playing can lead you anywhere - among other things.
What impressed me most is the fact that she stayed as along as it took to get through the line of fans to give autographs and pictures. She was there long past the time she needed to leave. Never giving any sign that she needed to go.
