What are focusing on in these swings.
For the last couple of days we've been back focusing on her landing closed and leveraging off of the front leg and not swinging her hips open. The newer stuff is to keep her head back - no forward/forward and leaving a little space between her knees at and after contact.

What is the focus as far what she is using to move out. Middle to move, rear leg to move, etc.?

We're on a break from the hitting coach so we've been working on getting back to basics. Any thoughts are appreciated!

Get a screen, go to the park and throw front toss. Never really liked side toss. It causes problems. Like ( what she does) extending your hands away from the body during the coil/load. (early armbar). The swing rail thing or deltoid drill to keep her hand closer to her body and feel what is really driving/powering a good swing. Her core. Obliques and glutes. Lots of other muscles too but if she says her obliques are sore or tired then she is doing it the right way. Never use "level swing" as a cue.
Not trying to be a jerk but I would try a different hitting coach too.

When training, either on tee work or front toss, try and have her have a goal of going gap to gap. Inside pitches to the LC gap and outside pitches to the RC gap. If you are in a cage, figure out where that would be and verbalize when she succeeds in reaching that goal.
