I know this thread is old, but I'm pretty new to the site. I wanted to chime in about Virginia. They ended up hiring Joanna Hardin from McNeese State. I've had the opportunity to chat with her a couple of times and think she is going to be a good fit for that program. Her personality will relate well to the players and she is familiar with the area. She seems to have done a good job wherever she has been.
They do need facilities upgrades as one poster mentioned.
I've also had the opportunity to talk with Blake Miller, who is now at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. I think he's a good coach, but I could see how his personality would take the right kind of player and is not for everyone. Very much a disciplinarian given his military background.
Hardin and Miller are very much opposites in terms of personality.
