Although she never played for him, Blake recruited my dd to UO. Went to camp while he was there and seemed to be a good coach and was a great guy. The duties of an asst compared to the pressure of being a HC must be huge. Seen a number of great asst turn into really bad coaches. They go from being level headed and having the ability to relate with players to micromanaging every aspect of every player and flipping their lids on a regular basis. Not sure if this was the case with Blake but you never know.

Seems to be a wave of firing and resignations with Blake Miller being third one I have read about. University of Houston head coach, Kyla Holas, resigned; and Stephen F Austin head coach, Guy McNutt was fired.

The AD seems to be an upstanding kind of person. I know they honored a verbal commit from right before Miller took the job.
