Where does the core recruit energy from? The core generates it? What would hitting without the ground look like?

Joey Myers did some test where the hitter is hung in the air while hitting. I believe the results were that the hitter lost power but much less than one might think.

sure it advances. Some will ER the knee though. Deeper load into the glute. It’s a no-teach for me. I believe in front hip coil during the gather/load phase.
When should this front hip coil end? Should it release with the core, after the core begins?

I’ll say it one more time. Launch is middle out. It’s not ground up. The ground is used for leverage and stability. It’s not used to launch the swing. Affordance of the ground is a big problem in hitting.
