Are the 2017s that much better than the 2016s or is it time to jump on a 2016 and get savings?

Currently, my daughter uses a 2016 Easton Mako at 31/20 because I knew Easton ran a little heavy. It seems to have cracked again (saw spidering, talked with Easton and showed them pics after coach thought bat may be a 'little dead' in his words).

Easton is going to replace it, but with fall ball starting, what do I do? I'm leery of getting another Easton since this is the 2nd 2016 Mako I have to replace. I see Xeno and LXT Pluses for sale.. What is comparable?

Any advice?

DD tried the LXT and the Xeno....she loves the Xeno. She likes her bats to have some weight to them
