Haley is a beast! Inspiring, going to show this to my students who asked me if I think they could play for their HS.

i was fornicate enough to hear Sue Enquist speak at Mt. Sac and one thing she said that stuck out in my mind, “If you love softball, softball will love you.” This , to me describes the few players I personally train One on one.

So Cal

I've been around a lot of good softball players, and I've known Haley for about 4 years. For dedication to getting better, determination to succeed, willingness to work hard, and coachability, Haley is at the top of the list. Unrivaled.

Thanks Eric for the compliments you definitely know what your talking about. Not since my daughter have I found an athlete with the same motor but unlike my daughter Haley had to trust a virtual stranger and a high school coach of all things.

My hope is to hand her off to a college program where she can continue to grow in to that college softball player she desires.

Its taken her about a year to understand what lifting weights is all about and not she’s pumping some serious iron, her body and strength is responding. Stayed tuned

This swing is not good. At all.

Post#1 swing much better. But the stride is bad.

At toe touch, notice the hips are angled up (bad), not flat (good).

This is because she is reaching with the front leg/foot to stride. Notice how her head/neck (yellow) have not traveled far from the back foot.

Take dry strides (no ball/tee) and learn to stride with the back leg. Don't reach with the front. Mark correct head location with tape, and look down after every stride. Make sure the front leg is very bent at landing.
