Well the ladies got eliminated tonight. Played two of the toughest teams in the state in our division. A few weekends off to fish and have fun and then TB starts...

Jdaddy's DD played a late one last night, until 2am because of the weather delay's. They won both yesterday and square off against their district rival in the WB finals for a shot at the AAA state title (largest in TN).
Thanks IRONMAN. They got the best of us yesterday. Our girls were tired and played like it. Getting ready to play in a couple of hours for another shot at them.
We won this morning and have to win two more to take it all. Our girls are gassed, but they keep finding a way. Not sure if two teams from the same district have ever played each other in the TN state championship finals.
Fell short in the championship game 7-5. 2nd place in state and the first time our team has been there in ten years. Couldn't be more proud of these girls and how they battled this week. Winner played four games over four days. We played 5 in 48 hours. Congratulations to Gibbs High School and their coach for winning their 10th state championship. Powell High School hasn't won state since I was there in 1989. We will be back next year!
Now we have to take three worn out girls and eight more who haven't practiced since last fall and play IRONMAN's DD's very talented team tomorrow.
