We are in WB finals tonight vs Riverdale. We split with them in regular season, won by 1, lost by 1. Hope our pitchers stamina holds up, that's been the only thing that's gotten us beat this year. (wish we had at least one more P).

You guys are stout. Hopefully we can see you later on :)

Still regular season here in MN as well. We are #2 in our conference right now but have the #1 ranked team in the state in our class in our conference and sub-section so I don't think the post-season will last too long unless we play a lights out game against them and somehow get to the sectionals.

Won again last night, 11-0 in 5. Winners bracket final is on Thursday. A win will secure our spot in the region tourney. Some teams got hot on the other side of our region and the 4 & 5 seeds advanced from their district.

Districts started yesterday. DD's HS team is very young with only 4 returning varsity players and DD the only returner who has played varsity more than 1 year previously (she is a 4 year starter). We were 5th seed out of 5 so we had to play the #1 team - a great, well coached team with a fantastic pitcher. We got shellacked - 17-1 in three innings. OUCH. DD had one of the only two hits in the game. Then had to go out and play game 2 against the #4 team - our cross town rival. Our team got they crap together and won 17-7. So we live on to play on Thursday...

Well, we lost to the perennial district champs tonight 3-2, which we swept in the regular season. Team as a whole didn't hit well and the other team came ready to play. Have to win next game to secure our spot in region tourney. Supposed to play tomorrow but the rain is coming again. Probably will be Saturday before we play.

Won our first two games at regionals tonight. Play in the winners bracket championship in the morning with our shot at heading to Montgomery for the state finals. Top two from each region go so the loser of our game in the morning has another shot on the bottom side of the bracket.

Happy to announce DD's team clinched the State Championship title yesterday afternoon in Austin.
That makes back to back titles for this team.
It was a good run. :cool:
