    What to do with pitchers with all different coaches???

    We have pitchers with all different coaches. None come to the games, but the girls find themselves in a bind in games (10U)... How do you go about geting them to fix their pitches when you aren't really sure what their coaches are telling them at their lessons, and mommy and daddy are paying...

    How I convinced my daughter to wear a fielders mask while pitching....

    I let her pitch in her first select game without one. (radical, I know) And when that line drive missed her face by two inches, she came off the field, looked at me, and said "um, mom, about that mask...." risky? yes!!! but now she thinks its her idea.....

    (Thanks Hal, for giving them a name!!) Ok, so according to DD's mood, she uses different Pre-motion's. Sometimes, she goes straight up over her head. Sometimes, to the right side, like she's cradling a baby. Sometimes, she brings her glove up to her chest. Sometimes, she rocks backwards...

    Should DD play TB and Rec??

    DD is new to a TB team. (10U) They will only be playing one tournament a month for Sept, Oct, and Nov...many more come Spring. Since she is a pitcher, I was wanting to get her more pitching experience. What are your thoughts on me signing her up for Fall Rec ball to get her more pitching time?

    Does your TB player play other sports?

    and if so, do you mandate that softball ALWAYS comes first? Just asking....We have a player that will be in basketball during winter, so there MAY be conflicts with practices..
