Oh and one bruised apple in the corner.
You say "bruised apple" . . . I say "third string catcher."
Oh and one bruised apple in the corner.
We've tried fruit, granola bars, nuts, "healthy stuff", but it just doesn't sell. A couple dozen doughnuts from the bakery sell well in the mornings.
Giant pickles are easy, profitable, and a huge hit with kids. They sell out fast.
It irks me high schools in my area do not take credit card.
Thanks for the tips! You mean like a home popsicle making kit and using pickle juice?"The healthy stuff" you just have to figure out the magic formula. At one local complex, they do well with a baggie of carrots and celery (with a side of ranch ... oh well) as well as sliced apples and grapes. It is the same as popcorn ... if you do it right, you might throw away 70% of it, but you still turn a hefty profit.
As for pickles ... I think I have told this story on here before. Back in my rec league days we did well with pickles, but then reached the point we were actually throwing pickles away just to get pickle juice. Pickle-cicles were where the money was at.
Thanks for the tips! You mean like a home popsicle making kit and using pickle juice?
Icees (Giant Otter Pops, not the cheap ones) are also a hit.
You will all find it hard to believe but somehow the heath department got involved in the random volunteer stand and they were all shutdown.
Come to the south and find out. : )What is the world is hot dog sauce?? You mean ketchup and mustard??
